When You Sense a Calling
Many of us feel a quiet nudge from God — a desire to help others, to listen with compassion, or to walk alongside those who are hurting.
Sometimes it begins as a simple longing to grow, sometimes as a deep conviction that God is inviting us into something more.
You may not feel fully ready or confident. You may wonder whether you’re equipped, qualified, or capable. But when God stirs the heart, He also provides everything needed for the journey.
Ministry training with CPM is an opportunity to step into that calling — to learn, mature, and discover how God can use you to bring His healing presence to others.

What Is CPM Ministry Training?
CPM’s ministry training programme is a journey of formation — a gentle, structured pathway that equips believers to minister the healing love of Jesus with wisdom, compassion, and maturity.
Through a blend of teaching, mentoring, supervised practice, and spiritual growth, trainees learn how to listen well, pray sensitively, and partner with the Holy Spirit in bringing hope and restoration to others.
Training is offered through two pathways: FastTrack (around 2 years) and Standard (around 3 years).
Both provide the same depth of learning, biblical foundations, and practical ministry skills; the difference lies only in pace. Throughout the process, trainees are supported by experienced CPM ministers who guide, encourage, and model safe, Spirit-led ministry.
Those who complete the full programme — including mentorship, assessment, and supervised practice — may be authorised to offer prayer ministry with CPM, joining a wider team committed to creating safe spaces where people can encounter the transforming love of God.

How does a Prayer Ministry Appointment work?
Connect
Your ministers will welcome you, either in-person or over Zoom. They will explain how the session works, and open with prayer. This gentle beginning helps you settle in, feel safe, and be open to God.
Share
You will be invited to share what's on your heart, at your own pace. The ministers will listen with compassion, helping you notice where God may already be at work beneath the surface.
Listen
Together, you pause to listen for the Holy Spirit. Ministers may ask simple questions, pray quietly, or invite Jesus into specific memories, emotions, or lies that need His truth.
Respond
As God brings insight or healing, ministers help you respond—letting go of burdens, receiving truth, and praying blessings over the areas He has touched. You leave strengthened and encouraged.
Walk it out...
After your appointment, we’ll offer guidance to help you continue the journey. Receive encouragement, next steps, and resources as you walk out God’s healing and truth.

A typical PMA will last around 2 hours, but can go longer depending on the situation.
Yes. There is a fixed charge of £25. You can also make an additional voluntary donation for anh amount of your own choosing - this helps support CPM’s ministry and cover expenses.
Not necessarily — whilst most Christians will be familiar and therefore likely more comfortable with prayer ministry, we believe that Jesus loves all people so His healing grace is available to all.
Typically, you will be joined by two prayer ministers (one lead, and one support) who are trained, authorised, and supervised by CPM. Sometimes, a third 'backup' prayer minister will attend the PMA - this is ususally someone currently undergoing training with CPM.
