About
Learn more about Christian Prayer Ministries — a Christ-centred ministry with over 25 years of faithfully supporting individuals, churches, and communities through prayer, listening, and spiritual accompaniment.
25 Years of Prayer Ministry
For the past 25 years, Christian Prayer Ministries has been walking alongside individuals, churches, and communities, creating space for people to encounter the healing, restoring love of God.
A ministry rooted in Scripture, grounded in prayer, and shaped by the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit, CPM was formed to help people listen for God, receive prayer ministry, and grow in wholeness and freedom in Christ.
From small beginnings to a growing national ministry, our heart has remained the same: to serve faithfully, minister humbly and make room for God to meet people exactly where they are.
The organisation is a registered charity has a Steering Group leadership structure made up of Trustees and Advisors. It is not associated to any particular denomination and has an agreed doctrine of belief based fully on the Christian faith.
We thank God for these past 25 years, during which we have seen many lives transformed through prayer ministry, training, and community life.
As we continue to trust God for what lies ahead, as we steward this calling into the future, we look forward with hope to many more lives transformed through Spirit-led prayer in the name of Jesus.

Our Vision
Lives transformed by the healing power of Jesus Christ, through Spirit-led prayer.
Our Mission
To provide Holy Spirit-led prayer appointments for healing, wholeness and freedom; develop trainees in prayer ministry, and nurture local prayer support hubs for members and their communities.
Our Values
Christ-centred – Bible-based - Transformative - Relational Communities
The Basis of our Ministry
Jesus came to restore our broken world and to make us whole. Through His death on the cross, He not only forgives our sins but also brings healing to our emotional and physical wounds. He sets us free from harmful habits, addictions, attitudes, relationships, and from anything dark or destructive that influences our lives.

Every person is created by God, made in His image, and precious to Him.

Our adult lives are often shaped by childhood hurts or patterns passed down through our families. Jesus wants to bring healing and restoration to these areas, too.

This ministry is gentle and loving. We invite the Holy Spirit to show us the areas where Jesus wants to bring forgiveness, healing, and restoration. It is non-judgemental and non-directive. Our aim is to help people understand who they are in Christ and to experience more of His love, power, and guidance in their lives.

Looking Ahead
In July 2025, a formal review highlighted a number of important challenges and opportunities facing Christian Prayer Ministries.
We have received this as a constructive and timely moment of reflection, helping us to listen carefully and respond faithfully to God’s leading.

A five-year Development Plan is now being prepared to address the issues raised, strengthen the ministry, and provide a clear framework for renewal and sustainable growth.
During this season, Ruth Street has been appointed CEO, offering steady leadership and guidance as CPM is shaped for the next chapter of its life and calling.
Leadership Team
Our Leadership Team brings together those entrusted with the day-to-day direction, coordination, and development of Christian Prayer Ministries. With a shared heart for prayer, healing, training, and service, they help turn CPM’s vision into practical ministry across each area of our work.
